Synopsis

Picks up the characters created in Robert Tressell's The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist and Mugsborough 1917 in new stories set 10 and 20 years after the novel ends. Socialist ideas and talk of revolution are in the air as workers and managers come to blows, and an illegitimate child with a tragic secret is used as a pawn in a bigger game.
