A sitcom set in a clapped-out former Soviet republic of Slomzovakia, where a selection of oddball characters were observed wandering

Lots of people didn't get the joke! But this was one of my personal favourites among shows I have directed and produced, a comedy by the wonderful David and Caroline Stafford
set in a tiny Eastern European state just coming to terms with the collapse of communism. It started surreal and got progressively wackier.
We performed in front of an audience and built a set which represented the bar which all the characters frequented each week. I loved it because it had warmth amidst its weirdness and some
of the funniest set pieces I have ever heard. I was very upset when a third series was not commissioned.
